REUTERS O Pentágono utilizou uma ferramenta de inteligência artificial para realizar a operação que capturou o então presidente da Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, em Caracas, afirmou uma reportagem do jornal norte-americano "The Wall Street Journal" publicada nesta sexta-feira (13). De acordo com a reportagem, com base em fontes do Pentágono, militares fizeram uso do Claude, ferramenta de inteligência artificial generativa da startup de tecnologia Anthropic especializada em segurança e no processamento de dados. O Wall Street Journal afirmou que os termos de uso da Anthropic proíbem que a ferramenta seja utilizada para "facilitar a violência, desenvolver armas ou para conduzir espionagem". A reportagem não informa que tipo de uso o Pentágono fez do Claude, mas afirma que o órgão acessou a ferramenta por meio de uma parceria com a empresa de dados Palantir Technologies, que tem contratos com o governo norte-americano.
